Over the years, there are only a few lady emcees that come to mind that I have supported, spun their tracks and taken them serious, like: Missy Elliot, Foxy Brown, Heather B, Da Brat, Lady of Rage, and even Mia X.
I would have to say though, that my new favorite female rapper, would have to be Kid Sister. She has exploded onto the scene and her live performance is dope from what I hear. Her tracks always bang in the club. Cuts like: Pro Nails with Kanye West, Control, and her collabo with David Banner Family Reunion all are on point. She raps about realistic stuff that could actually happen the day she is rapping about it if you know what I mean. I bet from a females standpoint, she is the ladies rapper. Rapping about everything from make up, to gettin her nails did, to fashion tips, but still on that borderline gangsta tip. Here is a remix I did of one of her newer cuts, Get Fresh.
